ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell University Board of Trustees will have its regular spring semester meeting in Ithaca, March 23-24, with some sessions open to the public.
The full board will meet Friday, March 24, from 9 to 11:45 a.m. in Room 196 Beck Center in Statler Hall, and from 1:15 to 5 p.m. in the Statler Hotel Amphitheater. The first hour of the morning session will be open to the public. Topics during that session will include a report from Interim President Hunter Rawlings; a report from the Student Assembly by its president, Jordan Berger; a report from the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly by its president, Nathaniel Rogers; and a report from the University Assembly by its chair, Gabriel Kaufman.
In addition to the meeting of the full board on Friday, the following board committees with open sessions will meet on Thursday, March 23:
- The Committee on University Relations Meeting will meet at 1:45 p.m. in the Statler Hotel Amphitheater. The first 30-minutes of the meeting will be open to the public and will include an update on state relations.
- The Buildings and Property Committee Meeting will take place at 5 p.m. in the Statler Hotel Amphitheater. A brief open session at the start of the meeting will include approval of minutes, approval of contract college status reports, and approval of the design for the College of Human Ecology Sabin Sculpture.
A limited number of tickets for the public to attend the open session of the full board meeting on Friday will be available at noon Wednesday at the Information and Referral Center in the lobby of Day Hall.
